Chief of Pediatric Urology and an additional Faculty Member of the Division of Pediatric Urology

OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois, a regional leader in Central and Downstate Illinois, is seeking a new Chief of Pediatric Urology and an additional full-time faculty member to join their growing Division of Pediatric Urology. Both positions will hold faculty appointments with the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP). Leadership at OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois is committed to this effort to expand a Division that was previously ranked among the Top 30 by the U.S. News and World Report. One of their strategic initiatives is to add a Urology Residency in the future. Initial planning is underway, and the incoming Pediatric Urologist(s) will play an instrumental role in the development of this program. OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois is a 136 bed, full-service children’s hospital, with more than 145 pediatric sub-specialists practicing 40+ subspecialties. Recognized as a regional leader, OSF Children’s Hospital is the first state-designated Pediatric Critical Care Center; the only level IV neonatal intensive care center outside of Chicago; the Regional Perinatal Care Center for Central Illinois and home to the first state designated Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in downstate Illinois. OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois serves as the major pediatric teaching affiliate for the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP). UICOMP is one of four regional campuses that make one of the nation’s largest public medical schools. The Peoria campus is the sponsoring institution of 13 ACGME-accredited residency programs and 8 ACGME-accredited fellowship training programs.
