BSWH is seeking a PRN, BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our outstanding CT Surgery care program in Austin, TX. This is a PRN employed career opportunity with a generous benefits package that offers work-life balance, a competitive salary, and no state income tax.

Qualifications:

• Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Additional training in minimally invasive valve surgery, TAVR and TEVAR, VAD, and heart transplantation is valuable.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery and expected to contribute to the growth and development of disease based programs in partnership with the Divisions of Cardiology and Vascular Surgery.  We are actively involved in medical student and resident education.  Academic appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor through Texas A&M College of Medicine will be determined by experience and qualifications.

-              Doctorate Degree in Medicine

-              Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

-              Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
