Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a BE/BC, fellowship trained Abdominal Transplant Surgeon to join our outstanding Transplant care program in Temple, TX. We are looking for a committed team player with a favorable work/ training history. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system.

• 600+ bed, level I trauma and academic facility
• Join our innovative and aggressive abdominal transplant program
• Growing program with 180 kidneys and 12 pancreases last year
• Experience with high risk donors is highly preferred
• Experience in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery, liver transplant and pediatric kidney transplant is a plus
• General Surgery resident and medical student education on-site
• Faculty appointment commensurate with experience
• Epic EMR

- Doctorate Degree in Medicine

- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her speciality or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
