Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon need at Lee Health in

Cape Coral, FLORIDA!!

Lee Health is a non-profit organization with more than 13,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 750 employed primary care and specialty care providers with nearly 90 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812 hospital beds.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group (LPG) Orthopedics seeks a full time board eligible/board certified Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon who has completed a Hand Surgery Fellowship for its busy and growing practice. Current hand surgeon runs an elective hand & upper extremity practice and sees 40-50 patients/day in the office and does 15 surgeries a week. Incoming surgeon would partake in general orthopedic call at a Level 3 facility along with the rest of the practice.

Group currently has 4 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers and are expanding to cover additional hospital locations within the community. New location will have 2 general orthopedic surgeons and are looking to add a hand & upper extremity specialist to the practice. Large referral basis from our over 200 LPG primary care providers within the community as well as 5 Convenient Care locations.

Hospital Summary:

Cape Coral Hospital is a 291 bed facility centrally located in Cape Coral. The hospital provides a wide range of services to the community from special nursery care to weight management, diabetes and chronic disease programs. Cape Coral Hospital is also home to a full service Healthy Life Center, one of Lee Healths modern health and wellness facilities.

Fort Myers/Cape Coral:

Cape Coral is a large peninsula just west of Fort Myers, Florida. With warm weather year round, its an idyllic community with beautiful beaches, amazing sunsets, dozens of recreational parks, ecological preserves and several golf courses.
