Position Information:
WakeMed is currently seeking physicians with an interest and fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma to join our well established group in Raleigh, NC. Our team currently consists of 22 physicians and 35 ACP's that provide services at 7 offices throughout the region. Our physicians specialize in spine, hand, trauma, sports, joints, foot & ankle. This position will focus on orthopaedic trauma and will cover call at our Level 1 trauma center. Call is no more than 1:10 nights and is staffed with Ortho residents or APPs. Qualified candidates must be BE/BC.

The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APPs within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed.
